Purpose of the Role
Assist the Legal Department with administration and simple legal matters. Conduct thorough legal research whilst supporting the Legal department in case preparation and other legal requests. Analyze and synthesize legal information to provide clear and concise summaries when applicable. Draft legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Review and proofread documents for completeness, consistency, compliance and deliver to Head of Legal for final review. Assist in case management tasks, internal/external requests, including organizing files, maintaining calendars, and managing deadlines. Coordinate with attorneys from time to time to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. Assess incoming requests from stakeholders whilst maintaining a professional and friendly tone.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Matric
Diploma in Law or LLB or basic tertiary education in Law.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the legal field
